Are you looking for somewhere to host your private party? In the Acorn Room, located on the first floor of the Royal Oak, we can accommodate up to 35 people, and can offer a variety of menus to suit your taste and budget. For larger events we can accommodate over 100 on the ground floor.
Also available to book for meetings and conferences, the Acorn Room offers a totally private meeting area for 1:1 interviews, small group meetings or larger conferences, at extremely competitive rates.
All enquiries can be made here by selecting the ‘private and party dining’ booking type
For parties we offer:
- A range of buffet or formal dining menus
- There is no charge for the use of the room if you are dining with us.
- You only pay the price quoted per head.
If you prefer a smaller set menu for parties of 20 or more, please get in touch

For meetings and conferences:
- Local charity groups and organisations are welcome to use our meeting room free of charge on an evening after 6pm. All we ask is that each delegate purchases a drink from the bar on arrival.
- We reserve the right to reschedule or relocate your meeting in the event of a double booking.
- Alternatively, you may guarantee the use of the room on your chosen evening for a £50 fee, payable in advance.
