Employee of the Month

Meet Michelle, our employee of the month! 

For those of you who don’t know her, here’s a little bit about her….

How long have you worked at The Royal Oak? It will be 6
years in February.
What is your favourite part of the job? Speaking to all the customers, and also spoiling the dogs with biscuits!
What is the best thing about working here? It’s like being part of a family.
What do you do when you’re not at work? I’m kept very busy looking after my son James, who’s 3, so we’re out and about in the village every day. My interests include anything to do with history and the paranormal…so it suits me working in an 18th century haunted building! Rumour has it there’s a Royal Oak ghost but I haven’t seen it yet!
